In addition to being a land acquisition company, we are also in the wastewater treatment business. We are a distributor for Aqua Tech Systems.
Today, there is a tremendous need for buildable land with sewer access. So, NTP is now building a sewer plant adjacent to all of our projects.
Obviously, having a sewer plant adjacent to our subdivisions gives the developer easy and affordable access to sewer connections, which provides maximum lot density without having to run miles of offsite sewer pipe.
Our subdivisions will have a public sewer system. NTP works together with the appropriate municipality to build a new sewer plant on an adjacent property to our subdivision. When the construction of the plant is completed, NTP will donate it to the municipality, and they will own, operate, and maintain the sewer plant.
The sewer plants that we build have a STEP (Septic Tank Effluent Pump) collection system that can typically lower the normal up-front development costs by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
This system uses pressurized lines buried only 2-3 feet below the ground, eliminating the need for lift stations and digging deep trenches for a gravity sewer system.
With the STEP collection system, the infrastructure can be constructed as the houses are built, allowing the sewer collection cost in the subdivision to be rolled into the sales price of the homes.
See the STEP collection system example below.
